Visit to Cadeia da Relação inspires study of Amor de Perdição
Animation 2D & 3D and 3D Digital Drawing classes explored Camilo Castelo Branco's novel through symbolic, creative objects in Porto.
As part of their study of Amor de Perdição, second-year students from the Animation 2D & 3D and 3D Digital Drawing courses, accompanied by teacher Eliana Silva, went on a study visit to the former Cadeia da Relação in Porto.

To make the experience more dynamic and creative, each student brought an object to connect with the novel, leading to varied and original interpretations — from symbolic items such as love letters and keys to unexpected objects like an onion or a chessboard.

The activity allowed students to explore the novel more closely through imagination, symbolism, and collaborative work — showing that literature can go beyond reading and come alive outside the classroom.
